Poverty In South Africa. A Crisis Of Development.

How do you lock-down in a slum? For people in the developed world, it is an unthinkable situation. For billions in the developing world, it is the grim reality of day to day life during Covid19. This is where poverty in South Africa becomes a significant problem.

In the next episode of the U&I Global Corona Diaries, we talk Chippa form Langa Township in Cape Town, South Africa. Chippa is an example of how to drive community development from the bottom up using business and entrepreneurship. Chippa wants to support community projects that tackle poverty in South Africa from the community up.
